The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department offers a wide range of surgical services ranging from dentoalveolar surgery to orthognathic surgery and jaw cyst and tumor management. Patients with salivary gland and mucosal diseases as well as patients with facial pain and temporo-mandibular joint problems are also treated by the Department. The Department is an active participant in the implant and maxillofacial prosthodontics team as well as in the dentofacial deformity management team within the multidisciplinary set-up of the Centre. The department works closely with oncological surgeons on campus Outram and is an active participant in multidisciplinary management of head and neck tumors and sleep disorders.
